Two days ago was July 1 - and you know what that means!... Right, it was Canada day! I thought it would be nice to offer you guys a small game with respect to this date. What is Canada Day? It's a national Canadian holiday, when Canadians celebrate July 1, 1867, when the Constitution was enacted and when three colonies, now called provinces, united into a new and very perspective country called Canada. In other words, it's Canada's birthday! :urya: The task is simple: all you have to do is post facts about Canada. You can either share educational facts (for example, "Canada is the largest country in the world after Russia, it's territory is 9.98 million square kilometres" or "Canada consists of ten provinces and three territories") or casual comments (e.g. "Canada is knows because of its maple syrup and Justin Bieber" or "There are a lot of beavers and moose in Canada!"). There are a few rules: 1. You can post more than one message at a time. You don't have to wait for someone else to respond in the topic - feel free to post numerous consecutive messages. It doesn't matter if left 2 or 10 facts back to back - they're still acceptable. 2. If there are a loooot of messages posted in this topic, you don't have to worry about posting a fact that's similar to someone else's. Make sure you don't repeat yourself, but I don't expect you to read every message (imagine there are a few hundred of them in here) and post a completely unique fact. Nope! Just as long as you don't repeat your own fact - it's perfectly fine. 3. Please refrain from being lazy and posting a fact just for the purpose of having more messages here. I will not be accepting facts like "Canada is big" or "Canada is a country". I would really appreciate if you can say more than that. 4. Make sure your facts are accurate.
