have you ever read Shakespeare in original?))))

I have not only read, but also learnt many of his sonets, part of Katherina (The Taming of the Shrew) by heart

"King Lear" only. Too weird language as for me))

Well, i`ve read "Romeo and Juliet"/ It`s really rather difficult to understand... and i`ve learnt his sonet 130 by heart, that`s my favourite one)))

Shakespeare....khm...there is not such word in a galaxy, to describe him, he is necessary to be simply read, and then you^ll understand...

U need to feel British spirit to understand. Тo the point of English poetry - is there anybody here, who likes sisters Brontе poesy?

hm... I know only Charlotte Bronte`s "Jane Aire"... i read when i was 10))))) and it was one of the 1st serious books in my life)
as 4 English poetry, I adore Robert Burns, although he`s not English, but Scottish))) but his "Red Red Rose" is one of my most favourite poems. Also I like Robert Frost(as 4 Amrican Literarure), Walt Whitman and one poem by Carl Sandburg about Chicago, coz the philosophy of this city is absolutely the same with the philosophy of my native city))

It's one of my favourite books actually... Btw - have you red it in English? Because the translation (soviet one) is a bit EDITED ;)

Lovenkrantz, I don`t remember... )) I guess i`ve read some part of it in English. right now i don`t have enough time, but i`m sure i`m gonna read it)) because i really love it)
