Ok...have no idea whether this gonna work, but at least i'll try)) Is there anybody, who have read HP in english???

A have read all of the 7 books. It’s better to read in english cuz they make a lot of mistakes in the russian version. For example, Blaise Zabini became a girl, Neville - the POTIONS master (!!!!), Victoire - MARIE(?)-Victoire.

u just HAVE to read Khaled Hosseini's books, they are very touching. "A Thousand Splendid Suns" is about two young women who are forced to become wives to a spiteful man in Afghanistan. "The Kite Runner" is about the friendship and lives of two boys who also live under the Taliban rule in Afghanistan. "Memoirs of a Geisha" of Arthur Golden is also interesting... But my favorite is "My Sister's Keeper", about a girl who suffers from cancer, and in order to survive, she needs her sister's kidney... It’s very, very, extremely sad! Also read “The Joy Luck Club” by Amy Tan. ;) I’m sure u r gonna like all of those books!

In general, I love reading in English. The language is simple and expressive. Mostly, I prefer the modern American literature.

Honey, Im talking about the RUSSIAN translation in Rosmen. :D Open the Sorcerer's Stone, look through the chapter about the Sorting Hat. There, Blaise is referred to as "she". ;)

Madame Deficit, wow, thatnkx a lot 4 recommendations))) i`m gonna read them definitely, but, i guess, after passing my exams...

as 4 the HP in english.. shame on me - haven`t read, at least, everything. but i definitely don`t like the russian translation!!! it`s awful..=\ i wish to buy all the HP books in english, but i guess i`m not gonna find them in my country.. ))

I`ve read just one book in English... It was "Three men in a boat", rather funny book, I liked it...)))

The book and the movie as well... I hate Ro for what she's done with atmosphere of the Witchcraft in the last books...I can hardly feel anything, if you understand me)

Oh, i DO understand you, trust me/// The very spirit of the world invented by JRo - has totally and dramatically changed since book 3 i believe... Somehow it "grew older" but i can't say i enjoy the changes...
