Literature, English and American

I haven't read lots of books in english, only a few short-stories. But I adore the stories about Sherlok Holmes after Arthur Konan Doyle, so I've read the majority of them. Also, i've read the first and the second part of HP in English, it was very easy and, i'd rather say far moer interesting than in Russian. Anywhere, even in russian i prefer reading the books of English and American writers such as Roger Jelazny, Aisek Azimov, Robert Hainlaijn, Harry Harrison, Gerbert Wells, John Yundem, Yulki Kollinz and many others... Only since last year i beagn reading more russian literature, ana i wasn't disappointed at all.

I've read a lot of English & American literature since winter 2005.
Right now I am stuck in Wilde's "Picture of Dorian Gray" but it's managable.
Theodor Draizer's books are amazing - I've decided to read them again soon.

To tell the truth, personally I didn't read English books in the past at all. At least, during the past few years. I'd rather die, then read all those hard and 765 pages long books. But, unfortunately for me, I had to begin reading them sooner or later. And so, I did.

Reading "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown, I enjoyed the concept of the book, and the idea of the story. Still, the myth is a myth. No one knows who Jesus Christ actually was.

Anywho~~ I read as much English books, as in Russian.

Now in university we are reading Oscar Wilde and I've decided to read "The picture of Dorian Gray" in english. And it's really well readable book and easily to understand everything. Recently I finished reading "Perfumer" but not in english unfortunately. But I enjoyed it a lot

I very much like "Gone with the wind" Margareth Mithchell . I would like to read it in English. It's ery interesting book, I couldn't come off it. I has read for couple of weeks. My favotite heroine - Scarlett O'Hara, I am very similar to her.
